Summary: They don't hold up so well.
Comment: I got these for my son for the start of this school year. First off, I didn't realize that these aren't regular sneakers. Oops. My bad! It's hard to describe, but it's almost like a water shoe that looks like a sneaker and is made from sneaker materials. It just has less padding and a bunch of holes in the "upper." So, they are fine during the fall with socks, but once it starts to get cold, need to switch to a shoe that doesn't have holes all over it, LOL! Secondly, the major issue, they fell apart a month ago, so, that's about 2.5 months worth of daily use by a 2nd grade boy. Not so hot. I'll be sticking with Sketchers or Vans from now on. They last all year.

Comment: The sizing chart was smaller then it stated and I had to pay return shipping to send these back. They are made for narrow feet not average size. He couldnt even get part of his foot in.

Summary: Great Shoe
Comment: My 5-year old son took a liking to this shoe immediately. He currently has Spiderman sneakers, Batman sneakers, Transformer sneakers and a pair of sandals; however, once he got these shoes he wore them everyday. It was like no other shoe existed. So far he's pretty much worn them everyday playing outside this summer and has told me that these were more comfortable than any of his other shoes. I would recommend these shoes to anyone who likes a sneaker and the designed holes in them allow the foot to breathe. He has the yellow ones (the yellow is not as bright as shown in the picture) but once he outgrows these we'll buy them again but in blue next time because blue is his favorite color.

Comment: Just bought this a couple sizes big for my son. I think we got a very good price for the quality of shoe purchased. And no tying of laces too, a bonus for us.

Comfort, a cool look, and enhanced wet-dry traction are what he'll get from the XGS slip-on from Sperry. The mesh and synthetic upper has great, contemporary styling, and the thickly padded insole and elasticized collar will cushion and steady his step, but the best part about this shoe is the water-siping outsole: It's perfect for summertime activities, or everyday wear involving wet and dry surfaces.
